Processed oboe cane, gouged consistently to 0.56-0.58 with carefully sourced cane, pre-gouged and gouged using specialist machinery. The cane is then shaped on a shaping machine using a Lory shaperform. Cane is prepared in bundles of 10.

Rigotti (COGOLIN) cane is a highly popular, premium-quality French cane for oboe, grown in the sunny Golfe de Saint-Tropez region, Var, France. It is renowned for its medium-hard density, consistent straight grain, long-lasting stability, and ability to produce a warm, vibrant tone. 

 

Pisoni cane, grown in the Var region of France and aged for a minimum of three years, offers high quality and consistency. Processed in Italy, Pisoni in typically a medium golden colour and is favoured for its density and stability. In is known for producing a rich, consistent tone with good projection and colorful overtones. 

 

KGE (Ke-Xun Ge) cane comes from the Anhui Province in China and is known for its high resilience, dense fiber structure, and consistent quality. Produced by Ke-Xun Ge, it features a yellow to golden brown color with a medium to medium-hard texture, offering a warm, stable tone suitable for various skill levels.
